Mayer-Kuvert — the company

Mayer-Kuvert GmbH & Co KG is based at a purpose built site in Heilbronn. 180 employees work at this site, which is also the headquarters of the global group of companies known as the Mayer-Kuvert-network.

At the Heilbronn site, the main focus is on the production of envelopes for Direct Marketing. A speciality is the production of bespoke printed products from the reel, multicolour flexo printed with high quality Aquaset print units. Blank fed production from Litho pre-printed sheets is centrally located in Heilbronn to serve customers from the entire network.

Our experienced sales and marketing staff are focussed on excellent customer service. Mayer-Kuvert is proud of the fact that customers do not have to design their order to a standard product range, the product has to be designed to meet their needs. ‘Nothing is impossible’ - the customer contact is an expert in envelope production. When the customer's requirement has been discussed and understood, a customized solution will be offered. 

This philosophy is not limited to our sales and marketing staff. Administration, production and logistics staff also understand that a satisfied customer will come back to buy again and that this leads to secure employment. Customer satisfaction is the prime reason that Mayer-Kuvert has grown to become the market leader in Europe.

Mayer Kuvert are constantly talking to both customers and suppliers so that we can be the first to spot new trends and opportunities in the market. This allowed us to identify the importance of environmental issues to consumers and make farsighted plans for environmental manufacture of envelopes. We have not transferred production to low wage countries, believing in locally manufactured goods, which preserve jobs and reduce transport costs and emissions.
